Children of the Kanya Gurukul Highschool participated in Inter School (Mandal Level) Games Competitions and brought home laurels. Under Ameerpet Mandal, forty schools are registered; of which 20 schools participated in the competitions.
The children secured the following wins:
- 1st prize in Under-17 Girls Kabaddi
- 1st Prize in Under-14 Girls Kho-Kho
- 1st Prize in Under-14 Boys Kho-Kho
- 1st Prize in Under-14 Boys Kabaddi
- 2nd Prize in Under-14 Girls Kabaddi
- 3rd Prize in Under-17 Girls Kho Kho
Clearly, the children are not only proving meritorius in their academics, they are also winning against tough competition in sports and games.
